Paavali Jumppanen is one of the most active and successful Finnish pianists of his generation, performing regularly as a soloist and chamber musician around the world. His repertoire includes a variety of pieces from Bach to avantgarde. Jumppanen has worked with many contemporary composers and premiered a number of piano and chamber music compositions. Collaboration with Pierre Boulez, Henri Dutilleux, William Duckworth, Perttu Haapanen and Lauri Kilpiö, among others, has given him a comprehensive view into the ever-changing nature of music.
