A pipe renovation – a nightmare or an opportunity?

This question will be answered by Putkiremontti, a musical comedy written by Timo Parvela who has also written the “Taivaan tulet” TV series and children’s books, and composed by Iiro Rantala, the hardest-working and best-known jazz musician in Finland.

We have all experienced or heard first-hand stories of pipe renovations – an operation whose twists and turns amount to real-life thrillers. The play turns comedy up to the max and reveals what a human being has to endure when facing a pipe repair. Y’all know what we’re talking about! The Finnish tradition of plumbing repair shakes buildings and people to the very core.

We recommend the play to everyone who needs to make life decisions about home ownership and humanity. And to those desperate to avoid making decisions. However, we do not recommend the play for children under 12 years of age.
